Job Description

Job Overview

Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to follow instructions (written & verbal), safely and accurately complete assigned duties and maintain company standards. Duties include picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and using pallet jack. Move materials safely in adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Properly pick, pack, wrap and stage product according to standard procedure.
  
• Accurately verify product against order.
  
• Confirm product meets company quality standards for shipment by examination of case while picking.
  
• Properly following all processes to ensure a quality product to our customers through compliant operations.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
• Deliver quality products and services through adherence to company policies and procedures.
  
• Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
  
• Handles and processes product in a timely manner according to standard procedures for picking and stacking.
  
• Informs leadership of any damaged product identified while processing.
  
• Demonstrate and promote a solution based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives.
  
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail.
  
• Promote and ensure a safe work environment.
  

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma, or equivalent.
  
• Reading, writing, basic English communication, basic math skills.
  
• Knowledge of: Manual floor jacks, computer systems, and other department specific tools
  

Environment: Distribution Environment

• Must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups to a maximum of 50 pounds.
